Research Seminar
What is it? Our research seminar will feature virtual research presentations on legislative politics by scholars who identify as female and non-binary. This series will be a great opportunity to join the community of women scholars of legislative politics, to discuss new work, and to present and get feedback on your research.
When does it meet? The 4th Friday of the month during the academic year, 2:00-3:00 p.m. eastern time.
What is the structure? The seminar will last 60 minutes and consist of one paper with a discussant. The goal is for participants to read the paper beforehand, have each author briefly present their paper (approx. 20 minutes), and then follow with discussant comments and open discussion. Papers will be posted to this website or circulated via email prior to the seminar.
How can I attend? Registration will be required to attend the seminars. We'll have a zoom registration set up for each seminar.
How can I present my work? We welcome submissions, from research proposals to polished manuscripts. Sign up to volunteer as a presenter or discussant here.
